Joshua Maruska is an award-winning designer who works at the intersection of technology, creativity, and craft. For more than 20 years, he has been designing iconic, industry-leading products and experiences for bold brands including Google, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Microsoft, Nike, and Starbucks.

About

Currently a Principal Designer at Seattle-based design consultancy Teague, Joshua applies his expertise in industrial design, interaction design, software and hardware prototyping, and user experience to envision the future and tackle complex problems across various industries. 

Joshua got his start at Thomson Consumer Electronics, designing and overseeing the production of consumer products under the RCA brand. He later joined Motorola as a Design Lead at the company’s Chicago-based Design Center, specializing in highly miniaturized and customizable personal communications products and accessories. Joshua is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and has been practicing product design and development since 1993.
